Henry J. Glanzman,age 90 of Whitehouse died Wednesday September 11, 2013 in St. Luke’s Hospital after having a heart attack at home. He was born in Toledo to Norman and Florence (Schneider) Glanzman on December 16, 1922. Henry was a self employed building contractor for over 48 years retiring in 1994. He graduated fro Libbey High School in 1941 and was in the army 10th Mountain Division serving in Italy and was decorated for bravery. He was formerly a member of First English Lutheran Church and presently a member of Zoar Lutheran Church, Perrysburg, 10th mountain division association and Whitehouse American Legion. Surviving are his wife Nancy A. daughters Suzanne F. (Jeff) Osborn, and Sally L. (Gary) Duncan, step-sons James (Tamie) Kopp and Thomas (Kelli) Kopp, 5 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents first wife Mary Lou and sisters Evelyn, Doris and Mary Ann. Friends will be received at the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E.S. Boundary, Perrysburg (419-874-3133) from 4 until 8 P.M on Friday September 13, 2013. Visitation will continue on Saturday morning at Zoar Lutheran Church, 314East Indiana Ave., Perrysburg after 10:00 A,M. with funeral services at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Timothy P. Philabaum officiating. Burial will be at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. The family suggests memorials to Providence Township Rescue Squad.
