Henrietta Merle Dreher, age 90, died Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. Henrietta was born November 6, 1921 in Toledo to Alfred and Maude Sautter. She was graduate of DeVilbiss High School where she and her twin sister, Marietta started the schools Twins Club and performed together with the DeVilbiss Develtries as tap dancers. Henrietta worked for Champion Spark Plug during WWII and for Bob Eddy Buick in inventory control before beginning a 27 year career as a manicurist at the Toledo Club retiring in 1983. She married Harold Dreher in 1951 and celebrated 60 years of marriage last month. Henrietta enjoyed sewing and reading and also loved to build homes along side her husband. She was a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church where she remained involved in church activities. She was a Christian and had a strong faith in Christ as her Savior. She read her Bible every day and shared her faith with others. Henrietta is survived by her husband, Harold Julius Dreher and son, Dean. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Marietta Davis. Visitation will be on Monday, November 14, 2011 at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. beginning at 10:00am until the time of service at 1:00pm. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
