Helen Youster

Helen M. Youster, 93, of Oak Harbor, OH died Thursday, October 02, 2008 at Bethesda Care Center, Fremont. She was born on December 7, 1914 in Ottawa County to Frank and Laura Stiffler Kohlman. Helen worked on her family farm and worked in the cafeteria at Dura Glass, retiring in 1970. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor. She also enjoyed crafts, painting, cooking, and baking. Survivors include: son: Gordon Foreman of Florida, daughter: Carol Laurel Swartz of Oak Harbor, daughter: Jane Foreman of Toledo, and son: Roger Patricia Foreman of Irvine, CA; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband: Elroy Foreman, second husband: Alfred Youster, a grandson, and 3 great grandsons. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 6, 2008 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor, where visitation will be held from 12:00 noon 2:00 p.m. prior to the services. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor.
