Helen Vetrano

Helen Vetrano, 102, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Thursday, October 20, 2016, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. Helen was born on November 19, 1913 in Tarrytown, NY, the daughter of Edward and Elizabeth Vetrano. She married Richard Vetrano and he preceded her in death on April 6, 1963. Helen was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Those left to cherish her memory are: Daughter: Barbara Connole; 7 Grandchildren; 12 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great-Grandchild. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter: Jean Duffy and several brothers sisters. Visitation for Helen will be 4-6PM, Monday, October 24, 2016 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Port Clinton, OH, family prayers will be held at 9:30AM, Tuesday, October 25. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted by Father John Missler at 10:00AM, Tuesday, October 25, 2016 in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton. Interment will be in Catawba Island Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial donations in memory of Helen be given to the Catawba Island Twp. Volunteer Fire Dept., 4730 E. Cemetery Rd., Port Clinton, OH 43452.
