Helen Sterling

Helen B. Sterling, 89, of Toledo, passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021. She was born March 21, 1932, in Shelbyville, IN to Charles R. and Ethel Gue. She married Harvey E. Sterling, Jr. on April 16, 1955. They had over 44 years together until his death on November 8, 1999. She was the mother of Bonnie Sterling, A. Lee (Kim) Sterling, and Jennifer Sterling Smith; grandmother of Mark, Joel, Steven, and Kelly Smith and Rick Saylor; and great-grandmother of Draven Saylor. Helen’s wish is for long and happy lives for her children and grandchildren. “God bless you all”. Friends will be received on Monday, November 22, 2021, beginning at 11 a.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Svlvania Avenue, Toledo, OH 43623, until the time of Memorial Service at 1 p.m. Those joining the family at the funeral home are asked to please wear a mask. Burial will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Ebeid Hospice or to a local hospice organization of your choice.
