Helen Patterson

Helen Folger Patterson, age 96, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 31, 2013, under Hospice of Northwest Ohio care at Kingston Residence of Sylvania. She was born September 26, 1916, in Toledo to Frank and Christine Grant Folger. Helen was a member of Memorial Lutheran Church. Her passion was sewing and over the years made many items for her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family Helen was proceeded in death by her husband, John Patterson II and son, John Patterson III. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Dana Klein; grandchildren, Chris Mandy Klein and Adrienne Klein, Judy Rob Swartz, Wendy Robin Zaletta, Jane Patterson and Brad Brittany Patterson and 9 Great grandchildren. Helen was one of seven Folger children, Jake Folger, Jerry Folger, Anna Rideout and Rada Ducket proceeded her in death, she is survived by her brother, Chuck Sally Folger and sister, Bessie Bolton. Friends and family may visit at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave., west of Corey Rd., on Monday, August 5, 2013, from 10 am until the time of the service at 11 am.
