Helen Mary (Caseman) Nation, age 88, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at the Browning Masonic Community. She was born on October 5, 1929 in Maumee, Ohio to Alfred and Carolyn (Hufford) Caseman. Helen was a graduate of Maumee High School and a member of the Eastern Stars Palestine Chapter #51. She enjoyed Plastic Canvas, Jigsaw Puzzles, camping and NASCAR races. Helen was a homemaker, but most of all was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert, sister, Betty Caseman and brother, Alfred Caseman. She is survived by her daughters, Brenda (Larry) Druschel, Christine Nation and Darlene Thebeau; grandchildren, Heather (Shawna Veres) Druschel, Pamela (Mike) Karg, Daniel Druschel, Cory (Michelle) Thebeau and Kelsey Thebeau and great grandchildren, Owen and Ella Karg. The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to the staffs at the Browning Masonic Community and ProMedica Hospice for all their love and care for Helen. Visitation will be from 3-8 pm on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 10 am Wednesday, October 18, 2017 in the funeral home. Interment will be in Toledo Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Browning Masonic Community or the Community of Christ of Whitehouse, Ohio stained glass window fund.
