Helen Louise Langschied, age 81 of Genoa, Ohio, passed away on October 31, 2013, after an extended battle with myelodysplasia. She was born April 8, 1932, in Gresham, Oregon, to Ralph and Edith Stuart Winchester. There she lived on a berry farm before relocating to Riverside, California, in 1945. In 1957, she married Bruce Allen Reimer, residing in Millbury. She worked as a keypunch/computer operator for Continental Coffee and International Automated Machines. She married Gerald Jerry Langschied in 1992 residing in Walbridge before moving to Deer Lodge, TN in 1994. They relocated back to Ohio Genoa in 2003. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends and was an inspiration to all of them. She also loved to garden and take care of her little dog Teddy. Helen was a longtime active member of the East Toledo / Northwood Seventh-day Adventist church. Left to cherish her memory are sons Edward and Gary Kelly Reimer, stepchildren Michael Shirley Langschied, Valerie Ivan Lee and Kathie Jeffrey Mashburn, 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Bruce and Jerry, and brother, Ralph Winchester. The family will receive guests on Wednesday, November 6, 2013, from 3-7 p.m. at Robinson-Walker Funeral Home, 501 West Street, Genoa. A private graveside memorial service will take place on Thursday at Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery, Sylvania, Ohio. The family would like to thank the staff of the Toledo Clinic and Bay Park Hospital for their care and support.
