Helen M. Greenburg

Helen M. Black Greenburg, age 60, of Toledo passed away Saturday July 27, 2013 in the home of her daughter. She was born October 23, 1952 in Ypsilanti, Michigan to Maxwell and Wilma Jean Brewer Black. Helen spent most of her life as a homemaker, she enjoyed cooking, cleaning and the Oldies. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a great daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Helen had a kind heart and was one of the strongest women ever known. The memories we have with her will be cherished. She was dearly loved and missed by many. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, David and Shannon Black; sisters, Patty and Brenda Black and grandchildren, Brooke and Justin Bernal. Surviving are her sons, Stacy Bernal, Benito and Mario Escobar, and Juanito Rodriguez; daughters, Jessica Escobar, Regina Rounds and Lisa, Jennifer and Erica Lavoy; brothers, John, Steve, Brian and Mark Black; sisters, Linda, Debbie, Theresa, Sherry, Kim, Shawn and Tina Black; 37 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. Friends may visit the family on Thursday from 12 noon to 7 PM in the Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey where funeral services will be held at 6 PM. Interment will be private.
