Helen Margaret Deshetler

Helen Margaret DeShetler, age 89, of Maumee, OH passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday morning, February 9, 2013 surrounded by her family. Helen was born in Toledo, OH on March 25, 1923, to Peter and Lodema Belle Cutshall Hartranft. She loved spending time with her family and camping with her husband Ralph who preceded her in death in 1981. She was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Maumee; OES where she was past Worthy Matron and the Maumee Senior Center. Helen is survived by her children, Victor Sandra DeShetler, Richard Michele DeShetler, Cheryl Tim Carmony and Sandra Burke; 16 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter and a sister, Marge Malone. In addition to her parents and husband, Ralph, Helen was preceded in death by her son, Daniel DeShetler; son in-law, Charles Burke and siblings, Ruth, Robert, Jerry, Mary Jane, Wayne and Merle. Friends and family will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, from 3-8 pm with OES services at 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Pauls Lutheran Church, 112 E.
