Helen A. Cook

Helen A. Cook, 83, of Genoa, Ohio passed away on Monday, November 5, 2018 at Otterbein Portage Valley. She was born on June 1, 1935 to Aubrey and Amolia “Sally” (Gross) Mangum in Toledo, OH. Helen loved boating and was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary. Her biggest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Helen is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; daughter, Jennifer; and grandson, Ryan. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Timothy (Brenda) Cook, Darla (Jim) Cook, Carl (Rhonda) Cook; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will take place at Hoeflinger-Shank Funeral Home, 3500 Navarre Ave., Oregon, OH (419-691-6768) on Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Friday, November 9, 2018 at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Lake Township Cemetery.
