Helen Marie Coffin

Helen Marie Coffin, 95, of Lakeside-Marblehead, OH passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2009 in H. B. Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. She was born January 22, 1914 in Lorain, OH, the daughter of Richard and Wilhelmenia Hasselman Kutza. On May 23, 1936 in Lorain, OH she married Melvin Coffin and he preceded her in death in 1968. Helen worked as a school secretary for the Toledo Schools. She was a member of the Christ Presbyterian Church, Toledo, OH and a member of P.E.O. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Sons: Richard Karen Coffin of Port Clinton, OH and David JoAnn Coffin of Elyria, OH; Grandchildren: Steven Coffin, Kelly Markley, Jill Houck and Christopher Coffin; Great-Grandchildren: Sophia Markley, Emma Coffin, Kinsey Coffin and Molly Houck. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers: Karl Kutza and Leonard Kutza. There will be no visitation. Private services will be conducted at a later date. Interment will be in Toledo Memorial Park, Toledo, OH. Memorial contributions may be given in Helens memory to the Firelands Presbyterian Church, Port Clinton, OH.
