Helen B. Johnson

Helen B. Johnson, 95, of Williston, Ohio died Thursday, August 13, 2009 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo, Ohio. Helen was born in Curtice, Ohio on February 22, 1914 to August and Augusta Miller Sandrock. She married Robert C. Johnson in St. John Lutheran Church in Williston, Ohio on June 22, 1950 and he preceded her in death May 24, 1998. Helen was a homemaker and a life member of St. John Lutheran Church; she also was a member of the Ottawa County Farm Bureau and the Ohio Farmers Union. Helen is survived by her son, Jon R. Johnson, PhD. of Columbia, SC, sister, Florence Bringe of Winterhaven, FL, sister-in-law, Grace Johnson, and brother-in-law, Earl Johnson, both of Williston, Ohio. Helen was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Funeral services for Helen will be conducted at 11 AM, Tuesday, August 18, 2009, in St. John Lutheran Church, Williston. Visitation will be in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home, Genoa, Ohio, from 3-7 PM Monday, August 17, 2009. Interment will be in the Allen Township Cemetery, Williston. Memorial contributions, in Helens memory, may be made to the church, the Luther home of Mercy, Williston, Ohio, or Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo, Ohio.
