Helen R. Arhutich

Helen R. Arhutich, 93, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away on, Sunday, August 15, 2010 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Home, OH. Helen was born on October 08, 1916, in Marblehead, OH, the daughter of Frank and Susan Tomchick Kukay. On May 04, 1946 in Marblehead, OH, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Helen married Paul Arhutich and he preceded her in death on March 22, 2003. Helen was a homemaker. She also worked for Standard Products and was a caregiver for friends. Helen loved cooking, taking care of the house and her flowers, especially red roses. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Son: Joseph P. Arhutich of Port Clinton, OH and many nieces and nephews. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, brothers: Mike, John, Joseph, Andrew and George; half-brother: Frank Jr., sisters: Veronica Schmidt, Mary Lawitzke and half-sister: Anna Kozak. Visitation will be from 9-10AM, Wednesday, August 18, 2010 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH, with family prayers held at 10:00AM. A Funeral Mass will be conducted by Father John Missler at 10:30AM, Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton, OH. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial contributions in memory of Helen may be given to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church
