Helen V. Ambrozy

Helen V. Ambrozy, 92, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, March 28, 2016, at Otterbein North Shore Assisted Living, Lakeside-Marblehead, OH. Helen was born on April 06, 1923, in Port Clinton, OH. On October 11, 1941 in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton, OH, she married John Ambrozy and he preceded her in death on March 05, 1994. Helen was a homemaker and worked at Standard Products in Port Clinton. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton, OH. Helen loved working in her garden, taking care of her flowers and the lawn. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Left to cherish her memory: Daughter: Jo Ann (Robert) Heimert of Oak Harbor; Son: Kenneth (Carolyn) Ambrozy of Port Clinton; Grandson: Ryan Ambrozy of Graytown, OH and Brother: Robert (Ruth) Slobodzian. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, mother, sister’s: Martha Slobodzian and Alice Edwards and brother: Walter Slobodzian. A Graveside service will be held at 11:00AM, Wednesday, March 30, 2016, in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial donations in memory of Helen may be given to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870 or to a charity of the donor’s choice. Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH, has assisted the family with arrangements.
