Hazel Marie Myerholtz, 89, of Oak Harbor, died Thursday, December 16, 2010 at the Genoa Care Center, Genoa. She was born on May 9, 1921 in Curtice, OH to Edward and Helena Strohscher Sievert. On September 1, 1951 in Williston, OH she married Marvin F. Myerholtz, who preceded her in death on January 22, 1996. Hazel worked as a clerk for the United Way Foundation in Toledo for 30 years, retiring in 1983. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Rocky Ridge and served in the nursery department during Sunday school for 4 years. Hazel is survived by her sons: Terry Sue Benner Myerholtz of Graytown and Jeff Jane Myerholtz of Oak Harbor; 6 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sisters: Audrey Brandt, Arlene Nusbaum, Lucille Kaiser and Edna Butzin. Visitation will be on Monday, December 20, 2010 from 2-8 p.m., with family present from 2-4 6-8 p.m., at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Oak Harbor, OH. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Keith Baker at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at St. John Lutheran Church, Rocky Ridge. Interment will be in Limestone Cemetery, Graytown.
