Harry Youngquist, age 93, of Holland, OH passed away Monday, April 13, 2009 at the Lutheran Village Community surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 7, 1916 in Westboro, WI to Olaf and Ida Lindgren Ljungquist. Harry married Frances Pfauser Youngquist on January 8, 1942. He was commissioned as an Officer in the US Navy during WWII, and served as a research engineer. Harry was a mechanical engineer for Owens Corning. He was a very active member and elder at First Presbyterian Church, Maumee. Harry enjoyed woodworking, the outdoors, and reading but most importantly spending time with his family. He often led many activities at Lutheran Village. A devoted husband, father and grandfather, Harry will be missed by all who knew him. Harry is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Frances; son, Bob Millie Youngquist; daughter, Sandy Siebeneck; granddaughters, Heather and Holly Youngquist and Jennifer Siebeneck; sister, Carol Kobielush and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by his siblings, Wally, Erik, Hilda and Ellen. Family and friends may visit Thursday, April 16, 2009 from 3-8 p.m. in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:30 a.m. in First Presbyterian Church, Maumee. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery, Sylvania, OH.
