Kindle, II Harry Shell Harry Shell Kindle, II passed away in Newton, MA on Sunday, June 22, 2008 at the age of 88. Mr. Kindle was born in Dallas, TX on February 15, 1920 to Harry Shell Kindle and Mary Kyle Perry Kindle. He spent most of his youth in Columbus, OH, graduating from Bexley High School in 1937 and from Kenyon Collage in Gambier, OH in 1941. During WWII, he was an aircraft engineer with Curtiss Wright Corp. He married Carolyn Little d. 1998 in December, 1944. Mr. Kindles career as an engineer took him to Woodcliffe Lake, NJ and then to Columbus, IN. He was married to Marilyn Burch Jones in 1964. The Kindles moved to Toledo, OH in February, 1966 and made their home in the Village of Ottawa Hills for nearly 40 years. Mr. Kindle was owner of Lake Port VW and other auto dealerships over that time. He was active in Rotary Club and the Kenyon College Alumni Association, and was a member of the Toledo Club and Belmont Country Club. He was an enthusiastic traveler and tennis player. Mr. Kindle is predeceased by his beloved wife, Marilyn d. 2007. He is survived by his brother, William Kyle Kindle of Tempe, AZ; children, Lucia Kindle Leggette of Toledo, OH, Mary Kindle of Cohasset, MA, Constance Kindle of Evergreen, CO; Harry Shell Kindle, III Xhazzie of Marblehead, MA, and William Douglas Kindle Karen of Wellesley, MA; and grandchildren, William Douglas Kindle, II, Isabelle Marie Kindle, Scarlett Kate Kindle and Tristan James Kindle. Visitation will be held from 5-6:00pm on Thursday, June 26, 2008 at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. where a memorial service will follow at 6:00pm. A private interment will be held at Joy Cemetery in Toledo. The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Kenyon College Alumni Association, P.O.
