Harriet Keinath

Harriet Eisaman Keinath, age 91, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2012. She was born in Bayonne, New Jersey to Jennie and Spencer Monteith. She met and married a young Marine who left to serve our country. Upon his return they moved to his hometown, Greensburg, Pennsylvania and raised their family. She was active in the First Lutheran Church and volunteered at the local hospital. Harriet loved to travel and made scrapbooks of her many trips. She loved to read, and play bridge. Harriet was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, James B. Eisaman and their son, Jay and her second husband of 27 years, Sheldon Keinath. Harriet is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Dennis Kogut, their children, Stephanie Thieman Jeffrey and Matt Kogut and great-grandchildren, Tyler and Lily Thieman. Visitation will be held at Lutheran Village Wolf Creek, 2001 Perrysburg-Holland Rd. on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at 12:30 p.m. A brief memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Those considering an expression of sympathy in Harriets memory are asked to consider Lutheran Village Wolf Creek or a charity of the donors choice.
