Harold E. Oneill

Harold Edward ONeill age 95 of Whitehouse, Ohio passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at St. Lukes Hospital. Harold was born in Lyons, OH on February 18, 1922 to Martin and Edna (Bick) ONeill. Harold was employed 30 years as a letter carrier for the US Postal Service. He was US Navy veteran serving his country during WWII and a longtime member of St. Rose Catholic Church, Perrysburg. Harold was an avid sports fan, especially baseball. He enjoyed the Cleveland Indians and watching the Little League World Series. A loving husband, Father and grandfather, he will be dearly missed. Surviving is his loving wife of 69 years, Laverne ONeill; sons, Michael J. (Lee) ONeill and David ONeill; daughter, Peggy (Paul Zeisler) ONeill and granddaughter, Krista Marie ONeill. Also surviving are his siblings, Sally Szewczak, Kenneth (Janet) ONeill, Pat Zonsius and James ONeill. Family and friends may visit at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 4-8 PM with the Rosary being recited at 7:00 PM. Prayers will begin in the funeral home Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 10:00 AM followed by the funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at St. Rose Catholic Church, Perrysburg.
