Harold B. Montague of Maumee, Ohio passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at the Elizabeth Scott Care Center. He was born on November 30, 1925 to Frank and Louisa Montague in Toledo, Ohio. Harold was a U.S. Navy veteran during World War II in the Pacific Theater. He retired from the Jeep Corporation after 20 years and also retired from the C.S.X. Railroad after 33 years in 1988 as a yard conductor. Harold was a great handyman and enjoyed fishing and gardening. He was a member of the United Transportation Union, Maumee Eagles #2562, American Legion Post #320 in Maumee and V.F.W Post 606 in Toledo. Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene Carol and brother, Frank. He is survived by his children, Nancy Bill Coburn; Debbie Craig Fauble and Todd Tina Montague; brothers, Gerald and Don Barb; grandchildren, Cathy McGuire; Matthew Coburn; Paul Stacey Bucher and Jenny Bucher; great-grandchildren, Thomas; Molly and Maggie and dear friends, Chuck Ernestine Humes. Friends and family may visit on Monday, November 5, 2012 from 4 to 8 pm at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at 10 am. Interment will be held at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery. The family would like to extend thanks to the staff of Elizabeth Scott Memorial Care Center and Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
