Harold Lou Marlow

Harold Lewis “Lou” Marlow II, age 46 of Liberty Center, OH passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 2, 2018. He was born August 31, 1971 in Toledo, OH to Harold Lewis and Patricia (McGuire) Marlow I. He spent his early childhood years in Dickson, TN, where he started honing his mischievous side. Lou was a veteran of the US Navy, a graduate of Northwest State Community College and an electrician at North Star BlueScope Steel in Delta, OH for the last 16 years. Lou was both well liked and respected by his North Star BlueScope Steel work family. He enjoyed fishing, vacationing and travel, once taking his family on an adventurous SEVENTEEN DAY road trip from Liberty Center, OH west to California, then east and south to Key West, FL, before heading north back to Liberty Center. Lou and Chris also enjoyed attending music concerts and an occasional gambling trip together (Vegas Baby!) He even tried skydiving and absolutely loved the adrenaline rush of jumping out of a plane and free-falling toward Earth. Lou was a jokester at heart and very much enjoyed pulling pranks on friends and family. He had a talent and passion for providing perfect, thoughtful, and, sometimes, the most humorous gifts as well. His niece and nephews can attest to that. Preceded in death by his father, he is survived by his wife Christina, whom he married December 30,1994; son Justin; brother James (Sherry) Murphy with nephews and niece Dustin, Jimmy, Austin, Sonia and his mother Patricia McGuire. “TOY” Family and friends will be received at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (West of Corey) on Friday April 6, 2018 from 2-8pm where funeral services will be held Saturday, April 7 at 11AM with a luncheon to follow at Hope United Methodist Church, 4069 W.
