Harold D. Lt. Harvey

Lt. Harold D. Harvey, 81, of Perrysburg, OH. passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was born on September 28, 1933 in Lenoir City, Tennessee to Hobart H. and Iva P. (Simpson) Harvey. He graduated from Libbey High School in Toledo, OH. and married his sweetheart, Jacquelyn Ann Raby on May 21, 1955. Together they raised their three children. Harold worked hard and was proud of being Lieutenant at the Toledo Fire Station 21. Harold bravely served his country in the United States Navy. He enjoyed woodworking and was a member of the Firefighters Association. Harold is survived by his children, Kim (Ray) Pohlman of Perrysburg, OH., Ken (Angela) Harvey of Deltona, FL. and Kris (Cheri) Harvey of Bowling Green, OH.; grandchildren, Cori (Mike) Risner, Brett (Mary) Pohlman, Kristi (Jake) Cullen, Evan (Amber) Harvey, and Samantha (Taylor) Triece; great grandchildren, Makenzie, Peyton, Trent, Taylor and Audrey; brother, Arthur Harvey. He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife; siblings, Ivan Harvey, Norman Harvey and Marie Barrie. Friends will be received from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary St., Perrysburg, OH. 43551 (419-874-3133) where a Toledo Fire Department Last Alarm Service will be at 11:00A.M., followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 1:00 PM. Burial will be private at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Wood County or Lucas County Humane Society or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
