Harold E Mick Durfey, Jr.

Harold E. Mick Durfey Jr. age 67 of Whitehouse, OH passed away peacefully on Wednesday October 12, 2011 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. Harold was born in Albany, Oregon on February 4, 1944 to Harold E. and Martha Jane Charter Durfey. Mick was employed as a heavy equipment operator with Ohio Engineers for many years. He was a member of the Ohio Engineers Local 18. In 2008, Mick received a lung transplant at the Cleveland Clinic which extended his life for 3 1/2 years. He is survived by, longtime companion, Diane Wyse; his children, Corrina Phil Durfey, Mickey Veronica Durfey, Tracy George Durfey, Mark Miranda Durfey; brother, David Marie Durfey; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; niece, Sandra Farbrother and nephew, Tim Durfey. He was preceded in death by his parents. Family and friends may call at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee on Sunday, October 16, 2011 from 3-8 pm, where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 am.
