Harold “Hal” A. Dann, 90, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Concord Care Center, Sandusky, OH. Hal was born on July 10, 1925 in Bellevue, OH, the son of Carlton and Garnita (Nichter) Dann. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WWII and the Air Force Reserves during the Korean War with the 104th Infantry. Hal worked as a supervisor for General Motors for 30 ½ years until his retirement in 1982. He enjoyed reading and hunting in his earlier years. Hal was a member of the V.F.W. Homer D. Gardner Post #2480 in Port Clinton and the American Legion Post #83 in Sandusky, OH. Survivors include: Caretaker/Friend: Randy Jackson; Cousins: Marie Roachell, Linda Hall and Carol O’Connor. Hal was preceded in death by his parents. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30AM, Friday, December 18, 2015, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton, OH. Private interment will be in Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery, Bellevue, OH. Memorial donations in memory of Hal may be given to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton, OH.
