Harold R. Childress

Harold R. Childress, 95, of Northwood, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Landings of Oregon. Harold was born on January 21, 1923 to Russell and Faye (Robinson) Childress in Circle Hill, Ohio. He married Gladys F. Koon on November 2, 1940 in Gallipolis, Ohio and she preceded him in death in 2006. Harold was a machinist for City Machine and Tool for 40 years. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Lois Warnke and Lynda Sienkiewicz; grandchildren, Christine Altice, Karen (Steve) Turnbull, Russell (Wanda) Warnke, Susan Warnke and Michael (Marcia) Savage; six great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gladys; four brothers, and two sisters. Friends will be received on Friday, October 5, 2018 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 701 N. Main St., Walbridge, Ohio (419-666-3121). Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Lake Township Cemetery, Millbury, Ohio.
