Harold Armstrong, Jr.

Harold Ken Armstrong, Jr., 79, of Oregon, passed away early Monday, January 24, 2022. Through most of Ken’s life he took great joy spreading his faith as a Christian.

Ken was an avid sportsman favoring mainly Detroit teams, although Ken’s favorite sport having been baseball. He spent many years of his life dedicated to his son’s and aiding those in need. Ken proudly served the country as a member of the Army National Guard for some years during which many fellow members lives were touched by him. Kens youth included coaching little league teams of which his sons were members while maintaining a career at Chrysler. He was a strong, independent man who instilled fond memories to be carried on by those who knew him.

Ken is survived by his ex-wife, Judy Smith; sons, Jeremiah, Joel, John (Mandy), and Jacob Armstrong; grandchildren, Paul, Kaitlyn, Rhylie, Nevaeh, Ava and great-grandchild, Journey.

Friends and family will be received Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 3-8 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home-Oregon Chapel, 3500 Navarre Ave, Oregon (419-691-6768) where funeral services will be held Friday, January 28, 2022 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Michigan.
