Harold K. Ames

Harold K. Ames, 82, of Port Clinton, OH passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at the Geneva Hospital, Geneva, OH. He was born July 08, 1925 in Elmore, OH the son of the late John and Carrie Kinker Ames. He married Jackie Simon and she survives. Harold worked as a missile mechanic. He served in the U. S. Navy during WWII. Harold was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Port Clinton, OH. He was a past member of the Elks Lodge #1718 and the Moose Lodge #1610. Harold will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include: Loving Wife: Jackie Ames of Geneva, OH and formerly of Port Clinton, OH; Sons: Ronald Ames of Ashtabula, OH, Jeffrey Ames of Madison, OH and Ricky Lucy Ames of Geneva, OH; Daughter: Judy Citriglia of Mentor, OH; Brother: Robert Ames of Pleasington, CA and Sister: Patty Campbell of Toledo, OH. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Leonard, Jerry, Richard and Kenneth Ames, sisters: Helen and Irene. Visitation will be 12PM to 2PM, Friday, April 18, 2008, followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00PM, conducted by Reverend James Lehman, at Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH.
