H. Sue Kramp

H. Sue Kramp, age 88, formerly of Toledo, died April 4, 2017 at The Regency in Whitmore Lake, MI. Sue was born Feb. 3, 1929 to the late Herbert and Pearle (Stone) Harper in London, Ohio where she attended high school. She went on to The Ohio State University and earned a degree in education. Her family moved to Toledo in 1956 and Sue taught elementary grades for 26 years with Toledo Public Schools, retiring from Hawkins Elementary. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, feeding and watching the birds and squirrels in her yard and working in her vegetable garden. She was a longtime member of Monroe Street United Methodist Church. Sue also volunteered at the Manor House in Wildwood Metropark. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Susanne (Jim) Weber, Jennifer Graham, Dan (Ann) Myers and Mary (David) Hiteshew; nine grandchildren; and twenty one great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 45 years, Frederick Kramp; and son in law, Richard Graham. Family and friends are invited to visit from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.).
