Jean Seward of Toledo, Ohio died Monday, December 13, 2021 at Orchard Villa in Oregon. She was born in Cleveland, TN. on June 29, 1928 to Milton Edward and Elsie (Gee) Sperlich. She worked as a tool girl for a navy shipyard in Charleston, SC during WWII. This is where she met her husband, Herman Seward. Jean and Herman were married for sixty years. They were both loving parents and foster parents for over twenty years. When anyone would ask Jean the secret of her long life she always answered it was because she ate beans and taters. Jean was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Herman. She is survived by her sons, Bill (Karen) Seward, Rick (Terri) Seward and Ronnie Beal; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
