Griffin Lee Tackett, Sr.

Griffin Lee Tackett, Sr., 40, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at The University of Michigan Medical Center. He was born in Toledo, Ohio to Robert Lee and Darlene (Caywood) Tackett on January 7, 1978. Griffin was a graduate of Whitmer High School and received his Associate Degree of Science from Northwest State Community College. He married the love of his life, Megan Jo Taylor on February 18, 2000. Griffin worked for Jeep/Chrysler as an Automation and Controls Engineer. He was a hardcore Buckeyes fan and had an affinity for history and politics, horsepower, as he liked fast cars and Hollywood, as he enjoyed taking in a movie. Although he had many of things he liked, Griffin only had a few things he loved. Griffin deeply loved his wife and six children. Griffin also loved Jesus Christ and was passionate about the gospel. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Megan; children; Courtney Tackett, Chelsea Tackett, Griffin Tackett, Jr., Tristin Tackett, Sophia Tackett, Oliver Tackett; mother, Darlene Tackett; and siblings, Curtis (Sheila Torio) Tackett and Heather Monroe; and many nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his father, Robert Tackett; son, Malachi Tackett; and infant sister, Michelle Tackett. Friends and Family will be received on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg, Ohio (419-874-3133). A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
