Gregg A Yockey, Sr.

Gregg A. Yockey Sr., 53, of Perrysburg, passed away at his home on Friday, September 14, 2018. He was born in Oregon, OH to Allen P. and Judith A. (Bristow) Yockey on September 19, 1964. Gregg was a 1983 graduate of Northwood High School and received his Associate’s Degree from Owens in marketing. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Gregg was an avid sports fan; especially The Ohio State Buckeyes, Detroit Tigers, and Detroit Lions. He also spent a lot of time cheering for Northwood during sporting events. Gregg is survived by his fiancée, Bonnie Rowley; children, Gregg A. (Liz Ladd) Yockey Jr., Amanda J. (Teran) Elenbaas, Jacob A. Yockey; parents, Allen and Judy (Bristow) Yockey, special daughter, Hope Rowley, special son, Stephen Hayes; “other brothers”, Danny Myrice, Danny Riffe, Mike Gregory Jr, Andy Gregory; beloved dog, Stiltz Allen; several aunts and uncles; many cousins; and countless friends. A Celebration of Life for Gregg will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, 21140 W. Toledo Street, Williston, OH 43468. Memorial contributions in Gregg’s name may be made to St. John Church or to a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements were entrusted to Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 701 N. Main Street, Walbridge, OH (419-666-3121).
