Grace E. Worcester

Grace E. Worcester, 96, of Port Clinton, died Friday, August 27, 2010 at the Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor. She was born on August 12, 1914 in Harrisburg, PA to Harry and Jenni Lenhart Gish. On October 17, 1936 in Bellevue, OH she married John Worcester, and he preceded her in death on August 26, 1989. Grace worked as a homemaker. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Port Clinton and a member of the Order of Eastern Stars Chapter 267 of Port Clinton. Grace is survived by her children: daughter: Patricia Hatfield of Port Clinton, son: John Jack Diane Worcester of Perrysburg, OH, daughter: Martha Allocca of Orange City, FL, 6 grandchildren: Julie David Mulligan of Port Clinton, Cathy Steve Dunn of Oak Harbor, Lori Bryan Hartshorne of Clyde, OH, Butch Hatfield of Oak Harbor, Kevin Hatfield of Port Clinton, and Tiffany Allocca of Orange City, FL, several great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 2, 2010 at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, with interment to follow in York Chapel Cemetery, Bellevue, OH. Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home with an Order of Eastern Star Service conducted at 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in memory of Grace may be given to Trinity United Methodist Church, Port Clinton.
