Grace Wilson

Grace Wilson, 90, of Marblehead, OH, passed away, Saturday, January 08, 2011 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center, Port Clinton, OH. Grace was born on December 09, 1920 in Rochester, MN, the daughter of Carl Oren and Eva Murle Alexander Walker. In April 1967, she married Ralph Wilson in Springfield, OH and he preceded her death on August 10, 1996. Grace was an Avon Sales Representative for 40 years. She helped start the Danbury Senior Center and was an active member. Grace was a member of the Ladies Moose Lodge #1610, Port Clinton, OH, the ladies auxiliary of the V.F.W. Stanley Jadwisiak Post #7572, Marblehead, OH and the American Legion, Sandusky, OH. She was a great bowler and bowled in several leagues. Grace loved playing cards hated losing, bingo, crafting and going on the gambling bus trips. She crocheted lap blankets and donated them to the veterans home and to the nursing homes. Grace will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Sons: James Kathy LeDent of Rochester, MN and Keith Jan Cultice of Marblehead, OH; Brother: Willam Walker of Arizona; Grandchildren: Katie and Jamie LeDent, Edward LeDent, Brian Cultice, Jeni Staats, Jonathan Chapman and Tim Chapman; 8 Great-Grandchildren, 3 Great-great-grandchildren and many nieces nephews. Grace was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son: Richard, 4 sisters and 2 brothers. A Memorial service will be held at 2:00PM, Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at the Danbury Senior Center. Memorial contributions in memory of Grace may be given to the Danbury Senior Center or St Paul United Church of Christ, Oak Harbor, OH.
