Grace E. Sims

Grace E. Sims, 100, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Tuesday, June 07, 2016 at her residence. Grace was born on February 08, 1916 in Kalamazoo, MI, the daughter of John Wesley and Florence (Shoup) Allison. She married Walter L. Sims and he preceded her in death in 1972. Grace was a member of the Christian Science Society and loved gardening. Those left to cherish her memory are: Daughters: Sharon Rofkar and Linda (Don) McCleary, both of Port Clinton, OH; 7 Grandchildren; Several Great-Grandchildren; Several Great-Great-Grandchildren; Brother: Jimmy Wagner, of Port Clinton, OH. Grace was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son: Wesley Wightman Sr.; sister: Alice Provoncho; brothers: Lawrence Allison and John Allison II. Visitation will be 12-1PM, Friday, June 10, 2016 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH, followed by the funeral service at 1:00PM. Interment will be in Sackett Cemetery, Marblehead, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of, Grace, may be given to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
