Grace Mary Sherman

Grace M. Sherman, age 80, passed away Monday October 3, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. The daughter of Joseph and Angelina (DiNardo) Drago, she was born July 25, 1936 in Toledo. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic School and was a graduate of Waite High School class of 1955. She married her high school sweetheart, Clayton Sherman and enjoyed 61 years together. She coached Miss Softball America, loved to watch LeBron James play basketball and House Hunters International. She will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, who lived her life for her family. She is survived by her children; William (Pamela) Sherman, Clayton Jr., Toni (Danilo) Watkins-Medina, Carmela (David) Pyle; 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren and sister-in-law, Maude Drago. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton D. Sherman Sr; parents; sister, Carmela (Gene) Provo; brothers, Anthony Tony, Samuel, Joseph (Peggy), and William (Connie) Drago; son-in-law, Dean Watkins. Friends may visit the family on Thursday from 3-8 PM at Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave (west of Corey Rd) where services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday.
