Grace E. Garcia

Grace Elaine Garcia, age 74, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. She was born on September 13, 1947, to Roy and Helen (Gschwind) Bowers in Fremont. Grace was a lifetime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fremont, Ohio and later changed to the Lutheran Faith. She was also a member of the Maumee American Legion. Grace is survived by her children, Corey J. (Barbara) Hofstetter, Nicole E. (Hofstetter) (fiancé, Scott Cole) Linke, John B. (Nicci) Rusch and Jacob L. Rusch; grandchildren, Alissa, Taylor, Kelli, Jaszmin, Elijah; great-grandchildren, Isla, Addie, Dawson, Marshall, Finnegen; sisters, Mary Alice (Chuck) Reiter, Monda Failor and Elizabeth Bowers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Fillitater. A Celebration of Life for Grace will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at 1:00 P.M. at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee.
