Gordon Mike Williams

It is with great sadness that the family of Gordon Michael Williams announces his passing on Thursday, April 11, 2019, at the age of 74 years. He was born in Tecumseh Michigan on September 3rd, 1944. He proudly served in the US Army before attending Michigan Tech University. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in computer engineering in 1969 and went on to become a Senior Systems Engineer for companies such as EDS, CareTech Solutions, IBM, and Tata Consulting Services. He loved reading books and watching movies along the lines of westerns and fantasy, with some of his favorites being The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially the grandkids who always brought a smile to his face. Mike will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 36 years, Brenda and his children, Christopher (Amy) Jaquay-Williams, Steven Williams, Traci Simmons (Darshit Patel), Heather Glisson, Suk Williams and James Knoblauch. Mike will also be fondly remembered by his 11 grandchildren Joseph Simmons, Delilah Simmons, Joshua Williams, Jessica Williams, Taylor Williams, Kelsey Williams, Brittney Byrd, Sitara Martinez, Adam Jaquay-Williams, Ryan Jaquay- Williams and Gabriel Jaquay-Williams, one great grandson Jayden Wellman, his brother Gary (Barbara) Williams and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Jarvis and Josephine Williams, and brother Glen Williams. He will be deeply missed and always in our hearts.
