Glenn M. Scott Sr., 83 of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, December 17at his residence. He was born September 24, 1930 in Morral, Ohio to Virgil Ray and Margaret A. (Richards) Scott. Glenn proudly served his country in the United States Navy and Army during the Korean War. While in the the Navy, he began his love for boxing and he enjoyed traveling from coast to coast. After the military, he started his legacy in the painting and decorating industry, which is carried on through his sons, as well as the love of music. Glenn is preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his children, Glenn Scott Jr., Jerry, Timmothy and Larry Scott; sister, Phyllis Burkett; ex-wife, Lee Miller; 14 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2013 from 2 – 8 pm. at the Hoeflinger-Bolander Funeral Home, 3500 Navarre Ave, Oregon, OH. where services will begin on Monday at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Lake Township Cemetery, Millbury, Ohio. Memorial Contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
