Glenn Dean Mccoy

Glenn D. McCoy, age 59, passed away Wednesday Sept. 12, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family. The son of Raymond and Hilda McCoy, he was born Nov. 3, 1952 in Dayton, OH. He grew up in Erie, MI and attended Bedford High School. He attended Sheldon Park Church of God and worked for Falcon Transport as a truck driver. Glenn loved fishing and gardening. He was always tinkering on cars and was the family mechanic. He was an animal lover, especially his dogs. Glenn was a simple man who believed in a hard days work. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather who adored his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife, Norma; children, Julie William Messenger, Jessica Ryan Kisonas; step daughters, Tonya Scherf, Tammie Aaron Mast; grandchildren, Amanda, Miranda, Will; step grandchildren, Alec, Zach, Noah, Sam, Leah; siblings, Carolyn Garry Leonard, Hadrin Jeanie McCoy, Earl Bonnie McCoy, Wendell Sheryl McCoy, and Joyce Mike Rhineheimer. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may visit on Friday from 2-9 PM at Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave west of Corey Rd where a service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM followed by interment at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
