Glenn was born in Jasper, Michigan on February 27, 1938, to Elmer and Gertrude Hoffman. He passed away peacefully at home on August 10, 2026, at age 88.

Glenn served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1958, and was stationed in Italy. He moved to California in 1959, and was employed by San Luis Obispo County for 30 years, retiring in 2000. After retiring, he moved to Oklahoma, where his four siblings resided. In 2009, he moved back to Ohio, where he met his loving wife, Patricia A. Reese. They were married in 2011.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Patricia Hoffman (nee Baney); daughter, Renee Cullum, of California; sister, Norma Ramirez; brothers, James (Julie), of Missouri, and Gary (Kristin) Hoffman, of California, and sister-in-law, Barb Goehring (Jeff).

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Hoffman; twin sister, Glenna Mae Donihi; sister, Patricia Ramirez; son, Mark Alexander Hoffman; and nephews, Albert Zoblicki (Angie), and David (Karen) Ramirez.

A gathering celebrating Glenn's life will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker, 501 Conant St, Maumee, OH. Burial will be held at a later date in Ravine Cemetery, Sylvania, OH. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you send donations to Sincere Hospice of NW Ohio, 3232 Executive Parkway, Suite 101, Toledo, OH, 43606.
