Glenn Fink

Glenn W. Fink, 88, passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at Flower Hospital. He was the son of Arno and Ruth Fink born in Ottawa Lake, Michigan on July 17, 1921. Glenn was a past employee of the Dura Corporation; he then worked for Walter Sanderson as a truck driver hauling milk.He ended his working career in 1989 as Road Superintendant for Sylvania Township. Glenn enjoyed boating and fishing on Lake Erie. He was also known for his outside Christmas Decorating. He and Dorothy made and sold many of their fine crafts. Glenn is survived by his wife of 66 years, Dorothy; son, Gary Gail; brother, Larry Debbie; son-in-law, Howard Walters II; grandchildren, Howard III Patti, Matthew Karen Walters, Debbie Tim Tyo, Melissa Curt Mellott, Wendy Scott Hider, and Kristine Tim Walter and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Karen A Walters. Visitation will be at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. on Thursday from 4 to 8 pm where services will be held on Friday at 10 am. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
