Glen G. Vogelsong

Glen G. Vogelsong, age 94, of Maumee, OH died Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Otterbein Nursing Home, Monclova. Glen was born in Findlay, OH on January 16, 1924 to John and Lena (Hogrefe) Vogelsong. He joined the Navy and served during WWII and the Korean War. He worked for Standard Oil, Lyden Oil, and retired from Yark Automotive. He loved woodworking, fishing and camping. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Verlia Vogelsong; daughter, Debra (Keith) Reese of Whitehouse, son Gary (Joanne) Vogelsong of Bowling Green, son Ron (Cindy) Vogelsong of Idaho; step- sons, Michael (Carol) Reese of Maumee, Keith (Debra) Reese of Whitehouse; 14 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren. Glen was preceded in death by his parents; 4 sisters, 1 brother, 1 step-son, James; and 1 step-grandson. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E.
