Gladys Viola Kesler

Gladys Viola Kesler, age 96, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Manor of Perrysburg. She was born on March 5, 1919 in Toledo, Ohio to Harry B. and Lillian (Eckenrode) Cowell. Gladys enjoyed playing cards and Bingo. She made the entire family feel special with her birthday and Christmas cards, which she never forgot to send in all her 96 years. Gladys is survived by her sons, Lyle (Sylvia) Meeker; Gerald (Kathie) Meeker; Larry Meeker and Bernie Chuck (Verna) Kesler; daughter-in-law, Beverly Meeker; and sister, Dorothy Peart. Also surviving are many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by her sons, Richard, Kenny and Raymond; daughter, Joyce Ann; brothers, Harry, Clifford and Arthur; and sister, Vivian. Friends and family will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12 noon.
