Gladys Marie Greunke

Gladys Marie Greunke, age 96 of Toledo, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Elizabeth Scott Care Center, Maumee. Gladys was born in Toledo on April 25, 1918 to George and Lily (Rudd) Revill. Gladys was past president of the Parkside Garden Forum; volunteered for the Red Cross Blood Mobile and was a docent at Stranleigh. She and Bob were world travelers, she enjoyed playing cards and often volunteered at her childrens schools. Surviving are her children, Martin (Bonnie) Greunke, Susie (Dennis) DiSalle, Laraine (Jeffery) Hardy and Carol (Bill) Herebic. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Greunke; grandson, Bryan and her 2 brothers and a sister. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at Hospice of Northwest Ohio for the exceptional care Gladys received in her final days. Family and friends may visit at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home 501 Conant St., Maumee on Friday, August 22, 2014 from 5-8 pm where funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial park. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio 30000 E. River Rd., Perrysburg or the charity of the donors choice.
