Gilbert R Taylor

TAYLOR Gilbert R. Gilbert R. Taylor, husband, son, brother, uncle and friend. Gilbert lost his long courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, April 6, 2008. Born January 30, 1952 to Gordon and Joan Taylor, Gilbert married Janice Laubacher of Oak Harbor, Ohio. He earned an accounting degree from the University of Toledo and was most recently employed with Great Lakes Windows and H&R Block. Gilbert loved to camp and fish, but most of all be with family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Preceded in death was his mother, Joan Taylor Parma. Surviving him are his wife, Janice; father, Gordon Taylor; sisters, Connie Bob Ball, Dorothy Bill Freniere; brother, Ian Angela Taylor and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends may visit Thursday from 3-8 p.m. in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, where funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. The family requests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Hospice of Northwest Ohio. www.walkerfuneralhomes.com
