Gilbert Skip Noel

Gilbert “Skip” Leo Noel, 75, of Perrysburg, passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2018. He was born on July 12, 1943 in Toledo to Gilbert F. and Florence (Colvin) Noel. Skip attended Libbey High School before enlisting in the United States Navy in 1960. He married the love of his life, Sharon Ellwood, on July 9, 1966 and together they raised their three boys. Skip worked for Doehler Jarvis for 33 years before becoming a consultant with Ford Motor Company and retiring. He is survived by his sons, Brad (Shannon) Noel, Brandon (Cheri) Noel; grandchildren, Cody, Haley, Calyn, Cameron, Alex; brother, Leo (Jan) Noel; and his beloved five dogs. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sharon; and son, Brian. Friends will be received on Monday, August 6, 2018 beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg, OH (419-874-3133), with a Funeral Service being held at 7:00 p.m. Burial will take place at a later date.
