Gertrude E. Seles, 87, of Walbridge, passed away Monday, December 15th at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 5, 1927 to Francis and Gertrude LuBien. She worked at the Baby Ruth factory in Chicago, and was co-owner of Bresler’s in the former Woodville and Southwyck Malls. She married Robert A. Seles on September 10, 1949 and he preceded her in death in 2011. She was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church in Walbridge. Surviving are her children, Robert (Linda) Seles, William (Patricia) Seles, daughter-in-law Christine Seles; grandchildren, Joel (Catherine Ross) Seles, Holly, Sheila, and Samantha Seles. Gertrude was preceded in death by her son James Seles and grandson Tony Seles. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 18, 2014 from 1-2 p.m. at St. Jerome Catholic Church 300 Warner St. Walbridge, Ohio 43465 with Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 in the church. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Hospice of Northwest Ohio 30000 E. River Rd. Perrysburg Ohio 43551. Arrangements are by Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Walbridge (419-666-3121)
