Gertrude Judy

Gertrude Judy, 83, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at her home. Gert was born September 28, 1928 in Toledo, Ohio to Hallie E. and Madalean (Dibert) Fincher. Gert married Wilmore Judy on September 17, 1949 and he survives. Gert was a bus driver for Perrysburg Local Schools for twenty-three years. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, word searches and loved spending time with her family. Along with her husband Wilmore; Gert is survived by her sons, Roger W. (Cindy Cressy) Judy, Mark Edward Judy and Brook A. (Jaci Babin) Judy; grandchildren, Zachary T. and Brittany T. Judy and ten nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; dad, Floyd Hennan; and siblings, Rafelo “Boots” Benner, Virginia Sprunk and Robert M. Fincher; along with eight step-brothers and sisters. Friends will be received from 2-9 P.M. on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133) where a funeral service will begin at 6:00 P.M. on Saturday evening. Burial will be private.
