Gerold Otto Hebner

Gerold Otto Hebner, 74, of Sandusky died suddenly on Monday, May 30, 2016 in Sandusky, OH due to the result of an automobile accident. He was born on December 3, 1941 in Ottawa County, OH to Earl O. and Doris (Winnie) Hebner. On July 23, 1960 in Fremont, OH he married Mary L. (Wood), and she preceded him in death in 2005. Gerold worked as a laborer for Chrysler Corporation before retiring. He loved shooting pool, woodcarving, playing Bingo and Euchre. Gerold really enjoyed family cookouts and will be greatly missed. Gerold is survived by his grandkids: Jeremy Hutson and Jennifer Hutson both of Toledo, 5 great grandkids and one on the way, and several step-siblings. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter: Theresa Hutson, and an infant son: Thomas Hebner. Visitation for Gerold will be on Sunday, June 5, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Oak Harbor, where funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 6, 2016. Interment will be in Elliston Cemetery, Elliston, OH. Memorial donations in memory of Gerold may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.
